This Privacy Policy describes how ADEK STUDIOS (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in the PropCheck / Property Deal Check iOS application (“the App”).

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data we store on your device

The App is designed to keep your deal data private and on your device.

We store the following information locally on your iPhone/iPad using Apple frameworks (such as SwiftData and UserDefaults):

  • Property details (e.g. purchase price, rent, refurbishment costs)
  • Calculation results (e.g. gross yield, monthly cashflow, cash required)
  • Deal labels and notes
  • App preferences (e.g. default deal type, thresholds, settings)
  • Notification and reminder preferences

We do not upload your deal data to our own servers. It remains on your device and is synced or backed up only via Apple services (e.g. iCloud backup) if you have them enabled.

You can delete any deal at any time from within the App. Deleting the App from your device will remove all locally stored data associated with it.

3. Analytics (PostHog)

We may use PostHog to collect anonymous analytics about how the App is used, such as:

  • Screens viewed and features used
  • Basic usage events (e.g. creating a deal, opening settings)
  • General technical information (e.g. app version, device type, OS version)

What analytics does not include:

  • No property addresses or deal values
  • No financial inputs or outputs
  • No names, emails, or contact details
  • No content you enter into deals

Analytics is optional:

  • You can turn it on or off at any time using the “Share app analytics” toggle in the in‑app Privacy section.
  • When turned off, the App does not send analytics events to PostHog.

PostHog processes data on our behalf according to their own privacy policy and data processing terms.

4. Subscriptions and purchases (RevenueCat, Apple)

The App offers optional paid subscriptions (e.g. PropCheck Pro) using Apple’s in‑app purchases and RevenueCat for subscription management.

  • Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store). We do not see or store your full payment details.
  • RevenueCat receives purchase-related information from Apple (such as transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status) to determine whether you have an active subscription or free trial.
  • This information is used only to:
    • Unlock Pro features in the App
    • Restore previous purchases on your devices
    • Manage your subscription status

RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase metadata as described in their own privacy policy.

We do not link purchase information with your specific deal data.

5. Notifications

The App can send you optional local notifications, for example to remind you to review saved deals.

  • You are asked for permission the first time notifications are needed.
  • You can turn notifications on or off at any time in:
    • The App’s settings, and/or
    • iOS System Settings → Notifications

Notification preferences are stored locally on your device.

6. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for use by adults involved in property or financial decision-making. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at team@adekstudios.co so we can take appropriate action.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data stored on your device and any limited information processed by our third‑party providers (such as analytics and subscription management).

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your device secure (e.g. using a passcode/Face ID)
  • Managing backups and iCloud settings
  • Ensuring you are using the latest version of the App and iOS

8. Your choices and rights

Within the App, you can:

  • Control analytics: turn “Share app analytics” on or off at any time.
  • Delete deals: remove any individual deal.
  • Delete all data: delete the App from your device (this removes local data; we do not keep independent copies).
